I think it was, Dr. Bissell cut the muscles of
my eye for eyestrain. I’d been going to him more or less, and have
some glasses – eye- glasses – which have stopped these horrible
headaches I've been having

OctoberAmelie and John
Frey
were married and I went to the wedding – Amelie
looked lovely and her
gown was the most beautiful one I ever saw. John
kissed all his men–friends and they all kissed Amelie.
She & John skipped out Santiago Street
way and fooled the waiting guests (Mother & I knew it)
but they caught her
afterwards at the station! The
3rd
next day Willie Filmer and
Alice Hamilton were married. He was here
yesterday with his bride, and called (upon us -
Miss Lathrop entertained the
Hay Island crowd while the
Dumbles
were here and we had quite a good time – “and ice cream”!
