Con went to Bermuda
on his vacation and fell in love again, as usual, this time with a
Bermuda girl who was on the steamer. He got some
nice pictures – with my camera. Just before Chat's mother was so sick, C. & I went down to the
Ontario one night to supper & enjoyed it immensely. She
felt good and was funny – we had our palms read after- ward and it
really was wonderful. She told all Chat's characteristics & she is to be famous sometime
and travel a good deal. She says I ought to have been an artist of
some kind, evidently, but will have a practical career. I am to
marry twice(!) – (I should hardly
call it marry!) - Once between 21 & 25
to a blonde – a love match – and a happy one (that must have been
Frank
!) and the other when I’m 42. He’s tall and dark &
has money! There was lots else! Claude
has been designing some lovely book–covers – one “A Mountain
Europa” is just out. He has also just finished the Charlie Wray house
& they are moving in & all the family are in raptures
over it. Charlie King is home from
