long hours. Thanksgiving morning we really got up earlyish and I tasted turkey & amused myself all morning till 1:30 dinner. Con came and the dinner was mighty good – but Claude and I skipped out to the foot ball game. Rochester & Hobart in Culver field. Score 11 to 2 in favor of Hobart. Cold but not a bad game – if so many men hadn’t been “laid out” on the frozen ground. Claude walked thro' Vick Park with me, to his car, and
