all by himself when the man hurt& him - and the whole
neighborhood is mourning him - And poor old "Prinnie"
too, is dead - of old age - dear old Prinnie!
Papa came back from
Dansville
I saw "Trelawney of the Wells" a very quaint delightful
play and marvellously well acted. I have been to Cook's more or less (with Claude or Con)
to see the biograph with Rochester views, and
when Gertrude was here we saw
Viola Allen in the "Christian" - a very strong
fine thing - much better than the book (which I'd just been reading)
I thought. "Clark" in the Wilburs comes next week!
Kate Davis is looking fine and gave
a very interesting talk on Bohemia
at Plymouth Church one night. We
all went to hear her, and Lura
has invited her to supper tomorrow night with the other Davises, the MacArthurs, Edithand me.
