were ready. We'd been out there the Sunday before, Edith, Mary, Chat, Helen & I & Con came after us (He'd been up to the house to get me to go to Forest Lawn!) It was a perfect day & we had bread & honey & milk (& doughnuts “that went with the milk”) up in a tree & on the way back Mary & Edith & I went down to the Culvert & spent & couple of hours on the grass under the trees - It was beautiful – all apple blossomy.

This Sunday Con & I found some beautiful late ones & brought them home - to decorate for the banquet tomorrow Monday. We also went over to the old Brighton cemetery to see the Bloss monument
&c & came home the “Blossom” road Mrs. Blaney's funeral was in the afternoon (dear old lady!) and Mrs. Davis & Helen came in afterward & Helen stayed to supper. & we had a nice chat by the open fire – Papa was home too. Edith came up after supper. I went up to Highland park at noon – to see the beautiful blossoming shrubs and

talk to my policeman. Monday night we had our gymnasium banquet
