It was so beautiful! Afterwards we walked up to Highland Park. Chattie came to dinner with me and afterwards we went to Seneca Park and “fed the ducks” which are roaringly funny. We also looked at the bears and things and I went home to supper with Chat. We telephoned Mary. She has a new phone – a Bell. Chase 946 21(!). She left Smith Perkins the first of the month and I have been looking for a position for her. She might have had one at G.E. Merchant’s. She refused one in Boston.
