Mrs. Andrews visited us a few days just before Easter & we had a nice time –

Went to “The Lady of Lyons” together. It was rich – Mr. Behn, Meta & Theo went too & rode down & up with us.

Last Monday Papa went to Dansville to edit the “Advertiser” again at Mr. Bunnell’s earnest solicitation. He hopes to come home every two weeks.

I called on Cad the other night & saw the new paper & their educated kitten. Mr. Joiner has a yellow one for us. On Charlotte's
(12th)
birthday we “Perfects” all went up to supper & “surprised” her - We had a real good time - & so did she. They are dear sweet girls - all of them – and I love them. Cousin Alice Caswell Wolfe went thro here on her way to Detroit for Easter & I saw her a moment
(2nd)
at the station. Easter Sunday was a raw day. I went to St. Peter’s with the girls in the afternoon & heard good music. It is as busy as ever with politics & such Harvey is illustrating for Scribner's!
