horse etc. We saw the lovely turning on of the lights again at 8
o’clock, from the bridge and then went over to the
New York Building and saw the
electric fountain and to the
Liberal Arts and saw the Tiffany fountain – a
lovely combination of green and blue lights and water. We had a very
good dinner at the American Inn and a cute Jap – supper
at the Japanese café. “Yock – men” I had - and there
was “chop suey” and delicious tea! We came home promptly at 9:30
nine car loads of us – And arrived in R. at 11:25 –
5 minutes ahead of time.

Just as I was beginning to write all this tonight (Thursday)
Cad Chapin-Goler

evening – We had a real nice old fashioned visit with them.
Aug 17th Sat.
Last night Gertrude came again
but went on to Oswego this morning we went up
to Claude’s lot after supper. Trudy was charmed with it
Mr. Ramsdell insisted on talking us
through “the Castle”, too.
