people who started for the Hunt at 7. The two pretty
Cary girls - looking prettier in their habits to
& their father & Mr. Townsend from the house
- & numerous others from outside met at the Inn -
Mr. Wadsworth & the fine shiny hounds - plenty of them, but only about
a quarter of the pack & everyone knew by name. Mrs.
Nash insisted I should take a picture - but as it was
barely sun- rise, I doubt it’s success! The horn [illegible]
and the hunt started off pell-mell just as our stage also started.
We made two calls and just managed to catch the 7:18 train - in a
valley clothed in fog. A cheap burlesque company
