the Zoo we rode some more park roads & up to the
Delaware Ave. entrance to the fair grounds and
then way down
Del. Ave. past the miles of beautiful
houses and ground. It is certainly a charming street. We walked
& rode about a bit down town. Saw Ormonde’s picture
in many windows – and Frances Ring's. They are at
Teck’s Theatre – and then rode out
Niagara Street
A couple of miles to the Front (Fort Erie?) and sat and
watched the setting sun and the gray lake and grayer clouds above
it. Also felt the cool fall breezes from Lake Erie
– Rode down Front Ave. and to the
Ellicott Square Bldg.
again where
we had supper at Statler’sdown
stairs restaurant – the 25¢ one – the identical sort of food we had
for 40¢. The only difference being the surroundings – the people who
ate with you – (not so “exclusive”!) Girls instead of men for
waiters &c. (but the service just as good. We also had music down
stairs. They are both worth the money depending on the mood one is
in! Got
