Sept. 23 Sun. It has been lovely weather lately. Have been up to the Park two Saturdays (8th15th) play- ing golf with Mae, John & Delos Wray.

We enjoy it much. On Wednesday I went up again and played the fourteen holes, but not so well as usual. I'm rather a

duffer yet I fear. Last Sunday was perfect. Edith and I were going to Spencerport, but the wind blew so we went to Seneca Park instead & spent most of the day – discovered a new bicycle path – visited the animals - sat in the high seat overlooking the river for several hours (I read Kipling’s poetry!) and had lunch at the Refectory - I went home to supper with Edith. We saw the children put to bed – I told them stories and they told me stories Ella
is a dear dainty little thing & the boys are so funny – it was quite cool.

Today Edith and I went to Buffalo at 9:52 am. It was a lovely day as to temperature & wind – not quite as sunny as I like for pictures. We went to Statler’s – upstairs and had a very nice dinner for forty cents (+ tip – 50 cents!). Then walked out Main & thro’ West Mohawk - passing Cad's future home. (By the way
