met me & we went to Statler's
to lunch & as it was a nice one & we took our time, I got
some rested - We had a very nice afternoon poking about picture
& antique shops and walking out
Delaware Ave. and going to the front (where
Mary
talked to the “Sojers”) and inspecting the new
74th Regt. Armory - which was being dismantled
after an elaborate “bazar”. We had supper at Adam Meldrum
& Anderson's and Came home on at 6:40 with a box of
candy & lot to talk about. I found Con here - just about starting to meet me - He
thought I was
coming on the 8 – something.

Back at the office and I found
the new stenographer

Saturday.
