Dec. 17 Sat. A long time since I've written in my journal. Ever since Thanksgiving we've had lovely winter weather. A week ago Sunday (the 11th) the trees were covered with the most beautiful snow storm. I was home all day & thoroughly enjoyed it - and a nap on the divan thrown in! Con has been up to supper every Sunday night. Toast & chocolate. I’ve been doing my Xmas shopping of course, & have been to Hospital donations & church fairs and so on & have made wall paper frames and have been to the Musee with Con and to Lura's to dinner - & with the whole family & Con, a week ago Sunday (13th) to Mae & John’ to dinner and last Thursday Con & I went up there and made our party call. We had a loaf of bread 5 ft. 7 in. long – that Con had made on purpose to & a pail of oysters & some doughnuts &c & a jolly supper in the kitchen & then an evening by the wood fire with the lights turned down & the snowy trees outside. It was mighty cozy. Dr. Jacobson sent me some lovely pictures he took last summer & have a long letter from Mrs. Graham & one from Helen. Crump was married last Wednesday (14th) to Edith Frances Agate of Pittsford – Thursday
