the evening writing - to Ned - To Aunt Melissa & to Eo - a 11 page letter form Ned! Oct. 21. Sat. Pleasant. Claude finished his catalogue cover and went to the matinee "Masked Ball". I almost went too. "Great Storm" at the office. After tea Edith came up & spent part of the evening. I saw her on the car & read. Oct. 22. Sun. A beautiful day. Went to church and Sunday school and had interviews with Louise &c. Walked up with Belle Cotchefer
& we decided to go to the Park after dinner. Our little Oval Park
is lovely. They set out the most delightful "color combination" of skirts at the North End last night! Belle
came about 3 and we took the car to Seneca Park and walked all thro' it and it is beautiful! - Quite wild and picturesque. The trees a little bare now but the colors bright and the sky & clouds very bright - and such lovely surprises in the way of hewn out rocks where there are views up and down the river & springs with hollow
