Had a late breakfast & Charlie
, Mama & I went to church. I stayed to S.S. with Louise & Catherine C who says Mrs. Eric Perkins
is dead - such a beautiful young woman! Louise wants us to go to the Fair with her & Howard and Ed Allen & his mother. I'd like to have Mama go - to the H.P.S.C.E. Hotel. They're going June 8th I told Claude & he said "all right". After dinner Mama & I did the dishes. Papa went for his paper. Claude & Charlie
went to Charella's & I wrote till dark. Then took the car over to Mamma Nourse's where I found her (very glad to see me) and Laura Palmer and Belle
& Louise They said their Fellenosa
lectures were a great success and regretted Ned & I could not hear them. Told M.
all about N.Y. "Lilla" and stayed over an hour. Then went to Nell Jones. She was glad to see me too - not very well, dear child. She says if I go to the World's Fair she needn't because I'll tell her about it (!) It was lovely moonlight coming home. Supper and bed. March 27. Monday A lovely morning. Claude devoted most of the day to Mr. Kent (Art Gallery &c.) & he went
