Harry & Ida were there & we had some fun with them. The girls saw me on a car 8:30 & I read awhile when I got home. Nov. 22. Wednesday It poured so this noon I made up my mind not to go to the old Fair, but I did get ready & Ned came in about 4:30 and asked me to go down with her then - I only went for phosphate tho' - and later joined the girls at home and got up to the church about six. Edith, Harry , Ida, Ned & I ate sup- per to-gether and made several purchases & sat & talked & enter- tained Mr. K-P. and sent & received "letters" etc. etc. after the manner of Fairs. Ida was 20 to-day & Harry beaming. Mr. Kirkpatrick Invited Ned, Edith & me to partake of ice cream - which we did - and afterwards Harry asked me too - but I didn't again. After awhile I got away home - A muddy, horrid evening. Nov. 23. Thursday Still in the "back flat" at the office. Doing a little work - reading
