Sullivan to come out. He played "The Man from Boston" Gilmore went & invited us (!) I got supper and Mama came home just as it was ready. Hurried up afterward, changed my dress and met Ned at 7:15 to go and see Lilla. We found her & Laura still at supper (she had just arrived this p.m.) and we staid until almost eleven! Talked Fair a good deal. I do so enjoy talking it over with people who have been there. Lilla told us her funny experiences at Lewis- ton - at the "Frontier House" where she was taken for a "reporter" and made to give information about Chicago. She also told us about a visit to the convent of the Cloistered Nuns of the Order of the Precious Blood in Toronto, etc. etc. She is going to call
