After that, went over to the Brick Church S.S. dedicatory exercises in the new rooms. Then went to the Jenkinson to dinner. I don't see how people live there. Lots & lots of fancy dishes & all taste alike - got home about three and read "Diana of the Crossways" all the afternoon - till I got my eyes tired. Then had supper & wrote. Apr. 10. Monday Pleasant morning. Met Ned going down and she went back to the P.O. with me and at noon came up a few minutes and again at night - to help her pick out a dress. I followed her up to the tailor's on St Paul St. where were also Mae Wray, Edith & Hat Sprague. M. ordered a coat and was "guyed" of course about how long she'd wear it "if business wasn't good" &c. A little boy was run over by the street car right out there on St. Paul St. but fortunately we didn't see him. Walked down to the corner with the girls & talked on the corner a few minutes. Came down to Gym in this evening & had a good time with
