lovely. Helen rowed Mama & me nearly up to Stearns' -
passing several new cottages & some old one (Fisher's - gone to
rack & ruin) and a camp or so. Then we went into the most
ideally still and lovely little cove and changed seats and I rowed
back. Mr. Willard was waiting for us & sug-
gested fishing again. Helen
was eager to & I said I'd row - thinking he was partly in fun
as he very seldom fishes on Sunday. He went up & got the
flies ready however. It was cold when we got up to the cottage &
dark (under the trees) & they had taken the ferns out of the
pretty little fire place & built a cheery fire &
Marrin
had baked Kn potatoes & hot
rolls & had "Kneipe coffee". We all ate heartily - needless to
say - and then Mate sang to the
old melodeon & Baby entertained
us for all an hour. He knows every time she plays before she
lovely. Helen rowed Mama & me nearly up to Stearns' -
