Ned came & coaxed me up to Mrs. Wagner's about skirts so we strolled up there - and back - and I went down to the Glasgow St. corner with her & we kissed goodbye a couple of times behind a post(!) & she took about the 3rd car. Then I came home & wrote May 21. Sunday A beautiful day. Went to church with Mama, but didn't stay. Walked up to Jonesey's & found her sick in bed & so thin. Visited a long time - because she seemed to like it and I was so sorry for her. Walked down East Avenue. Met J.G. & Mrs. C. and further down Frank

& his violin coming from S.S. He stopped & we talked a long time He admired my dress (the black one) Says "Ollie
" is married! &c. &c. Spoke of coming up & of not seeing me much & I took the car at Main St. & after dinner sat down to read
