sisted I looked like a gypsey) & Ned a similar rig. and Mr. Willard an artistic felt hat & after going along the cliff path again & taking a couple of "views" (of doubtful excellence) we took the camera & rope & adze up the glen - the most beautiful glen - deep & steep & grand & beautiful with all conceivable tints of bark & stone & foliage. Some places Mr. W. had to hew out steps in the slate & tie the rope to trees to help us up & some places we walked in the bed of the little stream & under the trunks and in and out of branches. One place (nearly the top) Ned sat right down in mid stream & skinned her elbow & lost her cap. Mr. W. had a fall or two - too. He was so venturesome - but I had only slides. At the top (or nearly - as far as we could go) was a ledge of rock overhanging a slatey place grown with moss
