night - because absolutely clear and radiant with moonlight. The

and delightful whippoorwill again and again. It was indes-
cribably lovely & tho' I was
very tired I enjoyed it so much! The row was no
exertion for fishing of course (They didn't catch anything) and we
went 'way down to the lovely cove just above "Hop
Point". Then Mr. W. rowed
back & didn't fish. We were late again & stopped at
Marrin's dock & piled right into bed
