old Astor piano, old chests of drawers, chairs, candle sticks, cradles, &c. De Witt Clinton vases etcetera. Met "Papa" and "Mama" Behn - who gushed - sent a kiss to the Baby - had an awful time on the Lake
 coming etc. etc. Then we came thro' the Art Building (where we met Millards) &c. up to the photograph place &c. bought some prints. Then went over to the Court via. the Electricity (where we had lemonade) & C & Edw. & I went to the Convent and bought things for people. I took the Intramural right over to Coral Hall - where Ned was waiting for me on the steps - but there wasn't a noon concert, as we thought. We sat there about an hour - watching people & things. It was "German Day" and such crowds of [illegible]. Saw Buffalo Bill's Wild West Parade and it was quite good - & very large. Finally Claude, Charella & Edward appeared & Ned went back to the hotel - to get ready to go & meet her sister this p.m.
