about 8 - tho' she wanted me to go down with her. Had tea when I got home. Nov. 20. Monday J.G.C. went to N.Y. to-day. I went to the dressmakers & "shopped" etc. and Ned. wanted me to come down to-night but I had tho't Mae & John would be there so had arranged to stay home & finish Mama's waist - which I did. Matie McArthur came in the office and invited me to join a Girls' Euchre Club she and Helen Davis are getting up. I promised to go the first day. Fred Beach came up to the office about 2 o'clock & stayed all the afternoon. He, Ned, Edith & I went for phosphate at 5:30 and then I left them. Nov. 21. Tuesday Went up to the Lyceum this a.m. & got tickets for "Americans Abroad" on Friday. Ned stopped in once or twice. They began fixing the front offices & "Martha" & I moved out into the back room & did very little work. Ned made me go down to supper with her to-night and afterwards we went with Edith up to the church to get ready for the Fair
