there & we walked up to the 4 corners- (Ned holding my hand!) & talked "World's Fair" etc. Then I look my car. I have written for rooms for the 5th Got home at 9:30 & had lunch & a talk. May 8. Monday Pleasant day. Ned & Edith came for me at night and I walked down to the car with them her. This was the last night of gym, and Ted Vickery came up to supper and went with me. I wore my new yellow shoes. Mae Wray was there & Hattie Sprague & Frederica's cousin. Ned & I acted like perfect geese and did all the outlandish things we could think of. Klem came all dressed up in her new spring suit, but took it off & wore a borrowed uniform. Didn't do much but kick. We danced afterward & then went to Dake's for ice cream soda. May 9. Tuesday Ned came up this morning - which was a lovely morning - and I went at 11:30 to the Lyceum & got our tickets for Modjeska - Sat. night & stopped to give her hers. Put on my pretty green dress, "Paris" hat & light "prunella garters" (as W.O. says) and Ned stop ped for me at 5. and I went home with her to supper. Read the Century while she put on her pretty new, blue silk waist and then we had supper
