Feb. 27. Monday
A beautiful bright sunshiney day so that I went up
Exchange St.
the other side of the Orphan
Asylum
lawn this noon and took a picture of our house
and its neighbors and then
lent my camera to Gil- more and he
did likewise. In the evening walked over to the gym- nasium with
Claude. He thinks from
Kirkpatrick's sermon last night that he is crazy!
Ned and
Edith & Frederica and Klem were
there but not Mae Wray &
Jen Clements as I expected. I loafed around
with Ned & got my hair all down,
so she did it up. She tried to have me talk "stage" to Freddy but I wouldn't. Had a talk with
Miss Foley about my new dressmaker & with
Miss Mencha. We decided - a crowd of us- to
go to the Turners Gym. Saturday night. The girls
walked down to the corner with me and Mrs. Turpin
was in the car - with shining new ulster on.
