Came back & talked to some callers over at #40 and when they had gone Ned went down to the car with me. Papa went to Buffalo May 10. Wednesday Still lovely spring weather. Edith & Ned came up at night & Ned went with me to do some shopping. I stayed home & sewed. Made belts &c - this eve. Claude bought 2 lovely Turkish rugs at a great bargain (22 & 12 dollars) at the Sibley sale. I like one especially. May 11. Thursday Still lovelier - & warm. H Had quite a visit with Mama at noon and was going to Edith's to sup- per (on an urgent invitation) but Ned didn't stop, so I tho't I wouldn't. Went down afterwards & Mae said she was to come. but didn't get there in time. They went to the Lake & had their tintypes taken & one for me. Went up to the church &
