I tried to get Mansfield as Dimmesdale - but it hadn't been taken yet (I confess I've lost my heart to him) I did get him as Beau Brummell for Claude & we got a pretty one of Della Fox in "Wang". When we came out Ned didn't feel like the S of A.
 Amy Busby - who is now the "leading lady" in Crane's company, came in while we were there - with a young man & an immense boquet of lillies of the valley. We walked up, stopping for gloves collars & actors photos for Ned (Anderson's, Kyrlie Belle's &c.) and I got the sweetest silver belt for Edithat the store below Arnold Constable's. While Ned rested & got curled - I went down to 14th Street again to take back Edith's cuff buttons & get me a lovely silver pin (3.75)
