was in bed - nothing but a skeleton - & so sick - I could hardly talk to her. Ada King & another girl were there. Told her about Mrs. Harry Hatch (Miss Erbelding
) coming in to see me last week. After dark went down to Edith's & we had a pleasant little hour's visit. The last before her father marries! He still has the grippe. Home about 9. Dec. 11. Monday Went shopping with Papa this noon. We got oil & vinegar crusts for Mama & a Russian Bowl & umbrella for Claude &c. In the evening I went to the Euchre Club at Helen Davis's. It stormed. Had a good time & 5 points out of 9! Matie McArthur had a letter the tenor "Clarke" had written to a friend of hers & of course the girls (especially Lura & Charlotte) were wild. We selected a pin. Had a nice salad supper & afterward
