Cleared off again & warm. Awfully lazy day. Wm came up and had a visit with me this noon. Said he would
take me to the German Opera & the League if I'd come down this winter.
Ned came in while he was there.
This p.m. I went out to get a paper for
Gilmore & saw Edith & Frederica. This noon I saw Mazy, Ned
took me for a phosphate tonight & I went back to the office
& did some typewriting for G.B. &
O's City Hall
. Sat in the
hammock & talked to Claude - &
upstairs - & in the sitting room. Then read the new
Scribners & wrote & "packed".

A beautiful morning. We got up and had breakfast the usual time and
when Claude
had gone off to his plans, Mama
& I walked (with camera & two satchels) down to the Erie
Station, meeting Ned & Edith
at the corner. Edithcame on the
car
