Hillman and I picked out loads of pretty girls and found out who they were. He envied Will Sloan (whom he knows) in the opposite box with Laidley Harris (Ace of Diamonds) who certainly was lovely. A Mr. Miner - in a shining dress suit and violets came and talked to us and told us "The Ladies" stayed till the ushers had to close up. I saw Mrs. Danforth dancing with Mr. Leow

. Mr. M. also said that Mrs. Little (Queen Ace of Clubs) had loads & loads of flowers and "the fellows" had begun to be afraid to put their names in their gifts! He was quite entertaining. Mr. Hillman complimented Rochester people in general very highly and thinks there are mighty pretty girls here (I agree with him.) After we put the rest on the car, Claude, Mr. H. and I walked home (stopping for "lemon & Vichy") I like him very much.
