Nov. 5 Sunday Lovely this morning. Papa & I went to church and the P.O. and I went back to Sunday School. When I got home the boys were just going for a walk & Mr. H.wanted me to go too - so I did - over the bridge and up Mt. Hope Ave. a ways & then back. Mr. H. was very funny & nice. We all like him. Sat a long time at dinner & then the boys started for the Park & Charella's & Mama & I washed dishes & then I read new magazines. Saw Mr. Buell's new memorial window to-day.

Talked to Mr. H. a long time again to-night when they got home. Nov. 6. Monday A lovely morning. I put up a lunch for Mr. H. before breakfast. He started this a.m. and doesn't reach home till Saturday. Tomorrow Chicago, Wed. Omaha, Thurs. Cheyenne, Friday some- where in Idaho and Saturday Portland! He looks so much nicer in a sack coat and loose blue tie. He took my hand first with his lef right and then with his left and squoze it and looked right into my eyes and said I had
