Will stopped & sat on the steps awhile, & we told Mama about it. June 20. Tuesday Very warm for June & I haven't been much good - or done very much to-day. Stayed till nearly 6 talking to Gilmore about the Fair & looking at his negatives. After supper Mama went to hear Lyman Abbott, and I read a little (after downing white) "snoozed" a litter, read a little more, & wrote a little. Hot. June 21 Wed. Warm and pleasant. Was real busy, JWC came & Mrs Cutler was down In the evening Ned came over (she came up to the office at noon & at five) and we sat by the sitting room window & had a long talk and a "Confessional". I tried to advise and comfort but don't know as I succeeded. We kissed good-bye over on Caledonia Ave. as usual! June 22 Thurs. Still pleasant & warm. Frank Davis came up this noon & asked
