I only need practice to get used to it - and a lower berth. Woke "plum" up at 6. and got up and dressed immediately and began to read. When the rest were ready - about eight, we went into the dining car to breakfast, which was very good. Our journey was gentle comfortable. It rained a good deal & kept com- fortably cool - tho' it was hot in the morning. I read a good deal. Finished Freddy's Book (A Family Likeness) Talked to Edward & he was very entertaining & cute. Also had a talk with Ned about her "unreasonable- ness" and she was very gentle and
