to Mazy May's. Hat Sprague was there. Mae showed us her trousseau - all but some of the dresses and it is lovely - so dainty & neat & pretty I do think she is the sweetest bride! We stayed till 9:30 or so and then E. and F. saw us on the car. May 30. Thursday Almost a perfect day. Although it rained early in the evening. Came down to the office for an hour while J.G. opened the mail (found him in the hall waiting for me) Saw a little of the procession. Met Charella & the boys. Bought a new black sailor hat. Went down to Cotchefers' & had a chat with Belle
. Then put up some sandwiches &c. & went out to South Park with Papa & Mama. It was lovely there! We went to a bank at the end of the grove and ate lunch & Stretched out & Mama read some in Harper's. After a while we took a long walk across the downs. Most of the afternoon I lay flat on my back
