I got a nice long letter from Frederica and a notelet from Ned ("Why didn't I write") enclosing plans of their room, etc. Walked home Plymouth Ave. way thro' fallen leaves. "From the Autumn fires the gray smoke curled" or whatever it was Mr. Stevenson said. To-night I mended and read more Phillip. Then my bath and bed - I sleep Oct. 13. Friday. so deliciously this weather - fragrant Autumn weather. To-day we are collecting the "Willie Fund" and getting him off to the Fair - perfectly happy. J.W. comes home full of the Yacht race "Too bad they can't let Dun- raven have one - nice fellow - got a party" &c but he's glad we got the cup - never- the less. Will H O send "his regards to Miss Bragdon" and wants the
