I forgot to say that I got up and started out on my wheel at six o'clock this morning. Rode till seven - down the Avenue & 'way out West Ave, & across thro' Genesee to the Rapids - where I rested and came back by Plymouth. A lovely morning to ride & my wheel went finely but I was completely tired out. Apr. 30 Sun. A lovely morning. Slept long & late but went to church & S.S. with Mama. Wore my new dress which is highly approved by the gentlemen & Mama Carrie Gould, Louise & I spent S.S. hour talking ("World's Fair" mostly) - not having a teacher. When I got home fussed up stairs till dinner & then wrote. Then sat by the window & read the new mag- azines. It commenced to rain. When it got dark I went upstairs and had a half-doze till tea was ready (nine o'clock) ate & talked May 1, Monday A funny rainy May day. J.G. & J.W. are back after a lovely time. They saw the naval parade on
