Orchard asked me everyday while I was away. "When Miss B

was coming back?" Edith invited me down to tea - so I went & we ate with Harry only and I gave them a graphic description of N.Y. & its delights! Freddy came in after supper, but she expected Mr. Hening[illegible], her N.Y. friend - so couldn't stay long. He takes her to the Art Gallery to-night - will be down to church & to dinner to-morrow &c.&c. It looks quite serious. E. & I sat in the dark parlor & ate peanuts and talked till after nine. I told her all about Ned & what I tho't she'd do &c. & she we talked about Clark & Blanche
& the various weddings to be. About "Elsie
" & Dorothy
& Mae and so on. I got home before ten and wrote. Claude came in from the theatre with Charlie Kent who is to stay over Sunday. Didn't go to bed till after 12. Mch. 26 Sunday Snowing again! So discouraging but stopped & melted before night.
