to our church fair and waited on table with Miss Johnston, whom I like real well. She knows Mae Wray and is a pretty girl. Had quite a good time but got pretty tired. Mama was there and I talked with Louise & Howard B. Carrie Gould. Some "kids" Bess Chapin & Effie - somebody and so on. Bought a sweet little white cashmere baby sacque trimmed with Valenciennes & a little embroidery for Eo's little one. Had such a sweet long tender letter from the dear girl to-day. Claude went to an architect's dinner at the Livingston. They are to have them once a month. The next at Teall's C. got first prize (&10) for a cute Valentine to Rudyard Kipling - in the Current Literature. Papa was here when we got home. I wrote to Eo & Trudy. Ned came up this morning loaded up with go- ing to N.Y. I've made up my mind she will go & might as well have it over.
