Mt. Hope and walked thro' it (or part of it) and
back home. It was cold
there and we read the papers & had lunch.

Quite pleasant, tho' it threatened rain in the morning. Mrs. A. & Edith went home this p.m. Edith (J.) came up at 5:30 and went home to supper with
me and we talked & washed dishes &c and played
Anagrams and then I walked down to the car with her &
up and down a long while talking (Freddy &c.)
Nov. 14 Tuesday
Sick to-day. Felt so badly I did not go back this p.m. Raked the
leaves a little (a lovely day) & then spent the afternoon making
(or beginning a blue waist for Mama. Didn't sleep much till after 6 a.m. and a hot bath.
Nov. 15. Wednesday.
I fainted away when I was getting dressed again but came to pretty
soon & got to bed. Mama didn't
know it. Got up at 9:30 and sewed a
