quite late (9 or after) Poor dear girl, she looks so used up and sick! Sept. 18 Monday. Cloudy & rained in the morning. Ned came in at noon to get me to go to a Turkish bath tonight, but I tho't I wouldn't but during the p.m. I persuaded Klem to go - (also a beginner) - so we met Ned & Edith at Curran's & had some phosphate & then went to the T.B. & Ned & I had the double room and E & K. each a single one. It was real nice. I liked the hot rooms - tho' we didn't stay in them long enough, I tho't. While we were waiting (after our scrub-down) - we went in again and I saw Miss Millimen there & had quite a chat with her. The plunge was fine - Ned & I had a good time on the rings. Afterward we all four got on our two cots and had quite a jolly time. We had chicken salad toast & coffee brought in from Teall's Left about nine. I walked home - felt fine - stayed up late reading "Richard Feveril" & finished it
