I had a little talk with Ned about Guy - and others - and she "confessed" a little. I wish I need never hear "confessions" but it's my fate. I try not to advise her - but she makes me. July 4th. Tuesday The Glorious! - and it was - a perfectly magnificent day. Got up at seven, read and right after breakfast went over to Mrs. Webb's on Goodman St. on my wheel, on an errand for Mama. Helped make cake later. Frederica came before dinner & we went up attic and I lent her "Plain Tales" & "Proper Pride". About one we went down to the Lyceum & got seats for "The Beggar Student" when we came back from a little walk we took, Freddy suggested it would be fun to get a Box! So we did. The first up stairs, right over the front of the stage almost - & lovely -
