1893 It was interspersed with live music by our quartette - together and sev- erally - and we had a very jolly time - during it and after- wards. Was introduced to Bert Brower and Mr. Draper. Mama had ice cream and finally we came home. March 4 Saturday Still more snow - & sunshine combined. Another very busy and wearying day. At five met Ned (at Gould's- buying $6.00 shoes) and she came up to supper with me. Claude told her his opinions & about her going on the stage & I talked to her about boarding with Lilla, etc. and she got quite enthused about N.Y. - so Edith was quite overcome when we met her - in Morris'- with Edith, Frederica & little Miss Taylor. We went over to Lovejoy's for candy and then we took the car for "Turee Hall" with various experiences. Blanche Robbins, Anna White & Miss Kidder were there looking on. It was in a gallery. The drill was splendid and
