Then came the cinematographer and it was fine - like life almost - I didn't miss the color. Tigers - beautiful - jumping around like kittens - people coming out of a factory - running - laughing - on bicycles &c. & a happy dog frolicing. Then the fine horses - just like life - a dance of soldiers in a field - most hilarious. A mail train arriving & people getting out and in - so real babies playing - very cute - children dancing in a wet street & people looking on - smoking & clapping hands and all the others. The last was fine - a whole line of cavalry just galloping up upon you & stopping. (The horses dancing around another men bigger than life! I enjoyed it. It was over by nine o'clock. Jno. Dumont was there. I rode home on Diana & read. Theo took my picture this noon - alone & with Meta. Nov. 11. Wed. Nice today, too. Stopped for Mary & Nellie tonight, to go to Davis's to the Pedro Club. We got our 12 little bird pins and I wore the 1st prize - a green enameled gold wreath, with pearls, but had to give it up to Mary at the end. Her score was 206 (6 games) & mine only 137! - Had ice cream & cake & tea
