Nice day. Went over to Gorton &
McCabe's to see the girls this morning and to Edith's & Ned's this noon about Pedro business. No, to Ned's tonight, just before supper - Rose, I saw too. At 5:30 (in a lovely
sunset) Gilmore, Crump & I rode up to the campus to find the football
game over and everybody "rooting" for Hobart
score 18 - 0 in their favor! I rode back before (& behind) the
tally ho and heard strange sounds. Tonight 8 of us went to Matie
Arnold's to form our pedro
Club (I stopped for Mary) the ones
present were,
Matie, Lura, Mabel Rogers &
May Rogers, Charlotte &
Helen Davis, Mary & I. The others are to be
Edith, Nellie Mac, Bessie Smith and Ned. We had a real jolly time. Elected
Matie Pres and Mary Sec'y & had "coffee and repartee"
and then played a game of Pedro - Chat & I beat Lura & May Rogers 55
to 1. We went home rather early. I had left my wheel at Mary's & rode from there. Staid up late.

p.m. I stopped at the gym for Helen
Davis (as per agreement) and went home with her to a nice
sweet potato supper and saw the new paper & had a nice chat with
Charlotte over the Minor
Italian Palaces
which I brought her. She admires them. Afterwards she &
Mrs. D. & Helen & I took the car down to
Meigs St. to see
