Then girls gave me the lovliest tripod for my camera "To the Club Photographer from the 12 Perfect little ladies) - Lura & Matie gave me a steamboat to go to Europe on & a little sailor boy on it. I got a funny "gym" one from Ned and Helen D. gave us each a popcorn fritter, labeled "You are the sweetest girl I know And this is just to tell you so"! Everyone seemed to have a good time. Afterward Theo came & had sandwiches &c. Feb. 20. Sat. Cloudy. Busy day. Tonight at five saw Mary, Emma & Edith & walked up with them - we stopped at Ned's to see her valentines - mostly digs

on "Billy" and Niagara Falls &c. I gave her the parrot &c. After supper I went down & stopped for her and we went over to Lura's. Found Edith there. Lura seemed to feel well & was jolly. She had some funny valentines from Charlotte - a "wishbone" because she broke hers! &c. Took a bath & went to bed very tired. Feb. 21. Sunday Rather cloudy. Read Gilbert Parker's "When Valmont came to Pontiac" this a.m. and almost want to sleep after dinner. Ned
