Nov. 30th Monday Pleasant. Busy. Went to the bank this noon and to "Gym" tonight. There were 4 new scholars - one "immense". We tried our lung capacity. I was 170 - Ned - 168 - Rose 210! We were the three highest - The others went from 100 to 150. It poured, going across the bridge Dec. 1 Tuesday Very cold. I rode Diana, but had to stop and buy "wooly" gloves. After supper tonight I went with Mama to have her dress tried on, and as we came out of Miss Shelley's Mary Nelly came along & went home with us and spent and hour or so - over the registers.

They went home about 9 am I rode down to Ned's and had a game of Pedro with her and Edith and Rose. Walked to the bridge with Edith. Dec. 2. Wednesday Some warmer. Walked down town with Mr. Humphrey and we stopped at the Lyceum for "Geisha" seats. Went down in his store & read the Vagabond poems on the wall and was invited to join in - Came up with Mary. Tonight I went to her home to supper at 6:45! Wore my new black brilliantine skirt. "Peg Hawley" was the guest of the evening. There were also, Matie A, Lura, Charlotte and Nellie, Emma, Ida, "Hattie & Tom" (Miller) a nice supper - escalloped oysters &c. We had some music afterwards and then the Miller's chaperoned us all to the 9 o'clock performance at the Musee!
