Spent the evening reading & visiting with Edith and Dr. Andrews - Edith shared my room. Sept. 23. Wednesday Pleasant today - got up early, as the Andrews took the 8:25 train. Rode up with Mary this noon. J.G. played golf this p.m. and I made prints. Harper's is out with the begining of DuMaurier's "Martian" - which I read tonight - of course Geo. H. gushed! A beautiful day - Edna (was married to Geo. Wilkinson at noon (quite private) and Laidley Harris to Will Sloan to- night - the swellest of the swell.
