Miss Stone is real good fun & we staid till after six & were
urged to stay longer. We walked down - as the car didn't come & it was
gorgeous moonlight. Ned left us at
Meigs St.
to call on her Aunt & Mary & I went in with
Lura to see her mother - who has been sick
Miss Hutchinson
was there and we finally all staid to supper
and later Mary
& I came down in the car with Mrs.
Davis, Frank,
Matie & "Bob" Hawley!
I had a terrific cold and Mary made me stop and get some
quinine - which I took before going to bed.
Nov. 16. Mon.
My cold still bad. It was a cold night but gorgeous. I went to gym
on my wheel
Charlotte was there and Miss Stone drilled with us. We had a
good time. Charlotte
told me (privately) that my suit looked best of all - "like a little
boy" &c! She was de- lighted and wanted to join. I stopped to
talk awhile with Nancy Stone. She goes
tomorrow.

Busy, & Warren still away. I go
into
Claude's "Atelier" now & then and have a
little "soiree". Met Harvey Ellis
in there the other day - and Ed
Nolan and others. Tonight it began to rain after supper.
Rose came up & spent the evening and
Mae Stull, too, to get me to go to home
with her - as John is in
Auburn. We spent a pleasant evening &
Claude helped entertain us. Then he
went home with Rose and
