meanwhile. Helen
is expected home Thursday & Mary, Lura & I are invited over to tea Sunday night.
It was late when we went home - & cool - but fine - Mabel- to the right - & Lura
& Miss B. - to the left - left us on
Alexander St. & Alice,
Mary & I
rode down Main St.
to the sound of band music - about 9 miles in all. Then I helped
Mama rip a little. Mrs.
Macgregor has fixed my bicycle skirt with leather binding.
June 3. Wednesday.
A gorgeous June day. Cool & delightful. I staid down with
Mama this noon & we ordered
her a bonnet & then had a nice lunch at
Sibley's. Emma
Lynch came along & told me she met Mrs.
Coan & Marjorie in Syracuse - our
Pleasant Point friend! Ned & Edith were
there at lunch too.
Mary & I went
up to Lura's to dinner by in- vitation
- and I had a chat with Lew &
Alice Jones. Then Matie Arnold came, & we four and "Dr.
Lasalle" went to the Lake- down numerous streets and by - paths &c &c.
A most circuitous route till we got out on St. Paul
St.
at last. It was fine going down the boulevard. Good wheeling & a
gorgeous sunset - Pauline Morton caught up with me
& rode awhile. I also rode with each of the others in turn
Mary, Matie & I stopped off on a bench & talked
so we were behind Lura &
Dr. getting
there.
